Morris Lee Self, age 57 of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away, surrounded by family, on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 o'clock pm, Monday, January 13, 2025, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. David Royalty officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville with Phillip Britton, Jr., Noah Britton, Jesse Gunn, Alan Noblitt, AJ Noblitt, and Jamie Bray serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 12th from 2:00-6:00PM, and again on Monday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 12:00PM.

Morris was born on June 25, 1967 in Pekin, Illinois to Nancy Puckett Self and the late M L Self. For over 32 years he owned and invented pallet making machines called Bronco Pallet Systems Inc. In his spare time, he enjoyed music, painting, welding and spending time with his family, where they often traveled together. He enjoyed metal arts sculptures and you can enjoy some of his art at Sweezy's Pub here in Pleasant View. He was a member of Joelton First Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eldon and Novell Puckett, and paternal grandparents, Thomas Otho and Grace Self; uncles, Wilbur Miller, Gill Sears, and Troy Puckett.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tina Self; brother, Phillip, Jr. (Candice) Britton; father and mother-in-law, Phil, Sr. (Barbara) Britton; niece, Hannah (Jesse) Gunn and, great-nephews, Cameron Keen and Emerson Gunn; nephew, Noah Britton; aunts, Dana (Brian) Dunn, Winta Sears, Ova Miller, and Judy Puckett; and numerous cousins.
